Note : For best results, join the device to your system before installation.

Step 1:

Remove the top cover to reveal the battery compartment.

Step 2:

Set your panel into program mode or your ecosystem management application to accept new devices. Refer to your specific alarm panel or smart home application instruction manual for details on how to complete this step.

Step 3:

Once your system is ready to accept a new device, place the battery into the sensor.

Step 4:

If your system asks you to “trigger” the sensor to complete the joining process, press the tamper button.

Notes:

1. To ensure proper operation ensure the side of the device with the small holes is directly facing the sounder holes on the smoke detector.
2. The FireFighter™ must be mounted within 6 inches of the smoke/CO detector for optimal operation.

Step 1:

Secure the mounting bracket to the wall or ceiling using the two mounting screws and double sided tape provided.

Step 2:

Secure the audio detector to the mounting bracket using the small screw provided.
