Find my Fios TV Voice Remote
Pressing the power button on the Fios TV One twice will start making a beeping sound from Remote. Pressing any button on the Remote will silence the beeping.
Voice Search
The fastest way to use your Fios TV Voice Remote is by pressing and holding the Voice Search button to say what you want to watch.

Remote Functions
Power/Mic Keys
- Power – Pressing “Power” button turns on/off both FioS TV box, TV and Audio devices at the same time.
- Microphone – For voice search, hold the button down while speaking and then release.
Playback Control Keys
- Play/Pause, Rewind and Fast Forward buttons – For Live TV, Video On Demand (where allowed), DVR recorded programs. Tapping the Fast Forward or Rewind buttons increases or decreases the video speeds. A long press of the Fast Forward or Rewind jumps you back towards the beginning of shows, and/or forward to the live point of currently airing programs.
- Record – Records any show that you’re watching on live TV. It will record back to the moment you started watching that program.
Navigation Keys
- Menu – Takes you to the main on-screen menu. From there, use the ring surrounding the OK button on the Fios TV Voice Remote to move between menu options.
- Guide – Takes you directly to the programming grid guide. Pressing the Guide button again brings up a selector that allows you to choose another view.
- Info – Press the Info button to get more details on the show you’re watching.
- Navigation ring and OK/Select – Press the navigation ring segments for up, down left or right and the OK buttons to navigate and make onscreen selections.
- Using Navigation ring buttons to Skip Forward and Back – Press the Left and Right navigation ring segments to skip video forward or back while using the DVR or watching Video on Demand.
- Last – Jumps back and forth between the last two programs you were watching.

Frequently Asked Questions
In order to use your Verizon Fios TV remote with Verizon Fios TV Set-Top-Box, the two must be paired. By default, it is automatically paired. In case if it is not paired, point the Fios TV remote towards the Set-Top-Box that you wish to pair it with, and follow the instructions:
- Press and hold the "PLAY/PAUSE" and “O” buttons at the same time
- Release the buttons when the blue light starts flashing on the Fios TV Voice Remote
- When the blue light stops flashing on the remote, your remote is connected, paired and ready for use.
- If at any other point you need to re-pair your remote or pair another remote, just follow this instructions again.
- Just remember that only one Fios TV Voice Remote at a time can be paired with any single Fios TV One.

- Your product supports an automatic discovery and set-up flow powered by QuickSet in your Set-Top-Box for most of the devices.
- Press MENU button on remote, then choose "Settings", and "Voice control", and select "Fios TV Voice Remote", and "Program Voice Remote" and choose "Automatic Setup".
- Once the automatic setup completes you’ll see a “Success” message in the top right of the TV screen.
The Fios TV One/Mini will auto-detect your TV. If auto-detect fails, a wizard powered by QuickSet will assist in the setup process. Follow the steps to manually add your TV:
- Make sure your remote is paired with your Set-Top-Box.
- Press MENU button on remote, then choose "Settings", and "Voice control", and select "Fios TV Voice Remote", and "Program Voice Remote" and choose "Manual Setup".
- Select your TV Brand and Model and follow the TV on-screen steps.
- You will see a “Success” message in the top right of the TV screen when the setup is complete.
The FiOS TV One/Mini will auto-detect your audio system. If your audio system not fully detected, a wizard powered by QuickSet will assist in the setup process. Follow the steps to manually add your audio system:
- Make sure your remote is paired with your Set-Top-Box.
- Press MENU button on remote, then choose "Settings", and "Voice control", and select "Fios TV Voice Remote", and "Program Voice Remote" and choose "Manual Setup".
- Select your audio system's brand and model and follow the TV on-screen steps.

- The batteries in your remote control may have become dislodged or are drained. Open the battery cover and make sure the batteries are properly seated.
- Make sure your remote is paired with your Set-Top-Box.
- Press a few buttons like Guide, Menu, Info. If the indicator LED flashes briefly, the batteries are working. If the indicator LED does not flash, your batteries need to be replaced.

- If you have multiple TVs, you may be using a remote that is programmed for another TV. Check that you're using the remote that was set up for the TV you are trying to control.
- Something may be blocking the path to the device you want to control, you may not be pointing at the sensor on the device, or you may be too far away. Open cabinet doors and remove any other obstacles that may be between the remote and the device.
- Point the remote directly at the sensor on the device. Be sure you are within 8 meters or 25 feet of the device you want to control.
- The device you are trying to control may not be programmed into your remote.
- Your TV settings may have been accidentally changed. Using the remote control that came with your TV, check that your TV is currently set for the input mode you are trying to control.
- There may be a loose HDMI connection. Check that HDMI connections are secure.

- Speak normally and hold the Fios TV Voice Remote about 12 inches away from your mouth. If held too closely, your voice may be distorted and difficult for your Fios TV Voice Remote to understand.
