Setup Instructions

Pairing should be performed before installation.

Step 1:

First set the system manager to pairing mode.

Step 2:

To activate the sensor, pull the activation strip that protrudes from the back of the detector.

Step 3:

The green LED blinks 3 times every 5 seconds (repeated up to 20 times) to indicate that the detector is searching for a network to join.

 

Note: If pairing is not successful – you can re-start the pairing process on the sensor by pressing the tamper switch.

Step 4:

Complete the pairing procedure on the system controller (control panel).

See the pairing instructions in the system controller’s (control panel) installation guide for details.

Step 1:

Separate detector from bracket.

Remove the bracket.

Step 3:

Mount bracket to wall using the center screw holes or corner screw holes.

Install new batteries OR if batteries are installed, remove the activation strip.

Step 5:

Remount the detector by sliding it down onto the bracket until a click is heard.
