Remote Functions

POWER/INPUT/LIVE KEYS

  • INPUT cycles through video inputs on the TV or Audio Device
  • POWER turns equipment used for watching cable TV on and off
  • LIVE returns the display to LIVE TV

NAVIGATION KEYS

  • A-D KEYS used for special functions displayed on your cable menus

Frequently Asked Questions

Five blinks means that your batteries are low and need to be replaced soon.

Make sure that the battery tab has been removed.

Ensure that your TV is on. Be sure to pair the remote and that you entered the correct 3-digit code when pairing.

To control your equipment, be sure to do the following:

  • Point the remote at the equipment when using it, making sure that there is a clear line of sight.
  • The LED on the remote should blink with each keypress. If not, replace the batteries.
  • The remote needs to be programmed in order to control your equipment.
  • Follow the instructions in the setup section of this site to program the remote.

Because there are various methods, you must refer to the instructions that come with the RF set-top box or RF adapter in addition to the instructions below:

RF Pairing Method A:
Use this method for the following STB and Adapter Models: UEI Sequence Adapter URC4869, Pace DC60Xu, Motorola HDDTA100u, Technicolor DC140, Evolution HD-uDTA-E.
1. Put STB or adapter to enter pairing mode (refer to RF PAIRING instructions supplied with STB or adapter).
2. Press and hold the SETUP key on the remote until the LED blinks twice.
3. Press the MENU key on the remote and the remote will begin blinking as it attempts to pair.
4. If you are pairing with an RF adapter, refer to the RF adapter instructions to complete pairing.
5. If a PIN number appears on the TV screen, enter that number using the remote numeric keys. The LED on the remote will blink twice.

RF Pairing Method B:
Use this method for the following STB and Adapter Models: UEI Intercept URC6252, Cisco 9865H, Arris MP2050 and MP2150.
1. Put STB or adapter to enter pairing mode (refer to RF PAIRING instructions supplied with STB or adapter).
2. While holding down the CURSOR UP key, press and hold the SETUP key three seconds until the LED begins blinking rapidly.
3. If you are pairing with an RF adapter, refer to the RF adapter instructions to complete pairing.
4. The LED on the remote will blink twice to verify success.

The VIDEO INPUT key defaults to control the TV INPUT.  To set that key to cycle inputs on another device, follow the VIDEO INPUT LOCK instructions in the SETUP section of this site.

This remote uses AA size batteries.

While Heavy Duty batteries will work, alkaline batteries are recommended and will have much longer battery life.
